Rachel Yee, a model from Shreveport, Louisiana, reminisces about her childhood filled with country living, horses, and family adventures. Her modeling journey started unexpectedly after her wedding, sparked by a local fashion article collaboration. Rachel’s love for modeling lies in the creativity it unleashes and the confidence gained. Balancing her role as a mom, wife, and model, she finds support from family and draws inspiration from authentic individuals. Here we are presenting her exclusive interview with cineleton.

Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?
I’m from Louisiana. I would say things were good growing up, we lived in the country and had a lot of animals all my childhood! My dad would take my horseback riding & that was always one of my favorite things to do as a kid.
How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?
I always wanted the opportunity to model but it didn’t come up until after my wedding. My makeup artist reached out & asked me to model for a local fashion article he was writing. We went to a few local boutiques & I got to model the outfits he wanted to publish in his fashion column. We did that a few months & then we did a few scary Halloween shoots for social media! That was when I knew this was something I could do if I just got out there and really tried to get my modeling career going. I have done 2 fashion shows & have 2 more coming up soon that I’ll Be modeling in! I can’t be more thankful for my journey so far & look forward to why the future has in store!
What do you like best about being a model?
I love the creativity behind it. The idea that is brought to life through a photo! There are no words needed if done properly & that is definitely something I love to see from my own modeling photos. I enjoy the glam & confidence I’ve gained from being on stage or in a magazine. There’s always something new to look forward to & work towards!! Staying consistent is key also!
Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life? Do you have any unusual talents?
I’m a mom to a 14 year old daughter, 3 dogs & a cat! I’m married & have such a great support system from my family. I don’t have any unusual talents but I do enjoy playing Guitar Hero when at home or in-line speed skating for fun.
We all need support in life. Where do you get your support? What or who inspires you?
My husband, daughter, my mom & dad, my older sister and all of my friends ! They all push me to keep going & continue to work towards my modeling goals & career. I love to get inspiration from other models or artists who aren’t afraid of being themselves, being unique and different are characteristics I admire.
What do you think is the most challenging thing about modeling and what advice would you give to new models?
I would say to do what you feel comfortable with, you should never do something that your not comfortable with. Always stay true to yourself! Don’t be like everyone else, stand out! Don’t be too hard on yourself, we all make mistakes & have room for improvement. Most of all, have fun !!
What is your favorite way to relax? What do you do for fun?
I love watching reality tv & relaxing on the couch! I enjoy working out & staying in shape.
Music is always great as well !!
You look amazing. What do you recommend for those wanting to keep in shape?
Stay active ! Find something you like to do & be consistent! I workout at least 1-2 times a week. Also having a diet helps to stay in shape!
What would you consider your strongest attribute? What do guys compliment you most on?
My eyes! I have hazel green Asian eyes & everyone loves them!
Anything about your heritage, ethnicity, or nationality that you feel people would like to know?
I’m part Chinese!! Some people see it, some don’t notice it.. but the eyes are what looks most Asian to me.
Please share something about yourself that may surprise others. What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
I’m always told I have the thickest hair anyones ever seen, people have asked me if I have extensions but no, it’s all mine! Something else about me is I love animals & I am passionate about rescuing dogs so they can get a second chance at life.
What are your dreams and goals and ambitions?
I want to continue modeling & enjoying myself while I do it. I don’t have any specific goal besides going as far as I can doing something that I love. I want to continue being a good person in general, we need more peace in the world.
If you were in a magical machine that could transport you to any place and time imaginable, where would you love to be? Why?
I’ve always wanted to go to the Bahamas!! I’m a beach kind of person & would love to be on the beach enjoying a drink & watching the sunset!

I’m a Gemini.. so I am naughty & nice, it just depends! 😉
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?
God is my #1.I’m a southern belle that don’t mind a little hard work! I’m part Chinese so of course my favorite food is Chinese! I love doing makeup but I’m horrible at hairstyles! I love shopping & spoiling myself!!
What does being published on cineleton.com mean to you?
It means a lot to that my work can be shown to others & how hard work pays off. I am truly thankful that I can share a little bit about myself & get to share some of the work I’ve done. Never stop chasing your dreams!!!
